The Lullaby

My incursion to the water tank was successful, now I have enough water for the days to come. But a partial move from this location is mandatory seeming the lack of the food storage. I’ll make up a plan tomorrow morning, now I should try to get some sleep, my body feel greatly the effect of the weather besides the psychological threats.

While being on the rooftop, I could get a glance over the whole campus. How the building extents by the northwest with their dirt colored walls, once white. The sounds of th grass being caress by the warm wind, clouds set randomly on the sky and a few thin laces of smoke that reach to the absolute night blue on the south west horizon. The wind becomes a sheet of paper, and the crickets little black notes, but the melodies are painted by cursed composers. I recorded a 2-minutes audio entry, it’s an exceptional quiet night and I felt I needed to keep a memory for the coming days.

I promised to deliver the results of the analysis obtained by the Tylak, but the activity outside is increasing, I must turn off the electronic equipments to reduce the disturbance. It will be until tomorrow.

Water

I don’t know how I got this far. I don’t know if I can get any further. This morning, I was checking my supplies and they are getting fewer, two days top. I’ve got already all the available food from the 2nd and 3rd Floor’s Grocery Stands.

At the morning, I discovered the water plumb was broken. I remained with no water all the morning and afternoon, I had to wait until sunset to dare myself into the rooftop and try to get some from the tank itself. I have no idea how the plumb got broken, and I’ve been convincing myself the whole day, it’s just the aging of the plumbing system… can’t allow myself think any other cause.

I’ll need to wrap myself up with as much cloth as I can, thankfully it hasn’t rain so far so the rooftop is partly safe, just trust I won’t find any unpleasant visitors up there. I’ve found one of those big plastic Trashcans that will help as a water container.

On my return I will expose the result of last night’s Tylar analysis…

Can’t sleep…

When the voices in the inside rarely calm at night, then voices in the outside come to life - pretty much like some sort of twisted equilibrium that must be maintained- and theres no posible way my eyes dare to close.

Nevertheless, I been quite busy searching among the shelfts for any interesting info on this old newspapers and magazines. Twenty minutes ago, while doing a quick scan with the Tilak I found a curious short article in some england magazine I picked at random; thankfully the whole article could be accessed from the library’s old WCA system (Web Cache Archive). I’ll post some fragments:

“Pre-historic Viagra’ found in Siberian mammoth DNA could boost your sex life and let you live longer By WILL STEWART IN MOSCOW Russian scientists… claim to have found a bacterium which could prolong human virility and life span…Professor Anatoli Broushkov of Tyumen University said: ‘We have found what seems to be a very old bacterium which is still living in the sandy soil of the permafrost. ‘We decoded a part of the DNA, and the preliminary results confirmed there is no record of such a bacterium in the world.’ ‘Some elderly mice demonstrated a growth of physical, mental and sexual activity, while some females even had babies aged at the human equivalent of 70.’ “-Daily Mail, 12th Febrary 2009

These studies were never repoted again and the story remained forgotten. But you may surely remember the famous video made by Dr.Sergei Rebikov (Genetists), leaked from Bayer Inc. laboratories, that instantly went viral and even appeared on many news stations worldwide two years after ‘the pre-historic viagra’ discovery.

What you saw in that video, was produce by that same bacteria shyly reported on 2009. Or at least… part of it.

I’ll try to take some rest, the noises have sort of lowered. I’ll go check the locks once again and try to get some sleep. The Tilak right now is performing an analysis, I’ll post the result by the morning.

The Logbook

Alone. I decide to began this log as a distraction to me, so it will help me kill some time, make me forget all those horrible screams that fill my head most of the day and at the same time, retake on the blurry scenes of this last seven months and try to give it some sence.

This is my first entry. The first entry of Engineer Alexandre Romero.

I have plenty of time, and plenty of memories. Plenty of books. Plenty of magazines and newspapers. They,my silent companions for over 6 months, claim for their story to be writen.

Hopefully - even knowing it’s a fool’s hope - that it’ll be discovered by at least one more of us.

If someone can read this, then, must be desperately looking for answers, looking for at least a single piece of logic to straight up the burden that has witness his eyes.

Answers, I have not.

But I can offer facts. By building a timeline of events, suported by articles, gossips or any kind of data, I hope at least have an idea, of where are we standing today.
